SeIver Pašić rođen je u Zvorniku 7.5.1931. godine u trgovačkoj porodici. Srednju školu završio je u Tuzli, a Pravni fakultet u Sarajevu, gdje je položio advokatski ispit i otvorio samostalnu advokatsku kancelariju. Od najranijeg djetinjstva osjećao je veliku ljubav prema muzici. Po dolasku na studije u Sarajevo, Pašić postaje član narodnog orkestra AKUD "Slobodan Princip-Seljo", čiji je šef bio Milorad Milić. Nastupao je u orkestru društva zajedno sa talentovanom grupom pjevača narodne muzike, među kojima su najznačajniji: Safet Isović, Himzo Polovina, Zora Dubljević i muzičara, među kojima su bili najpoznatiji: Srđan Matijević, Puniša Rakočević, Edvin Ferizović, Igor Čapljinski, Dejan Zagorac, Selim Salihbegović i mnogim drugim, dajući svoj doprinos razvoju i njegovanju narodne muzičke tradicije grada Sarajeva, Bosne i Hercegovine i Jugoslavije. Član je Udruženja kompozitora i muzičkih pisaca Bosne i Hercegovine od 1981. godine. Pašićev opus obuhvata oko 90 kompozicija, od kojih je veliki broj snimljen na pločama i prodat u najvećim tiražima. Većina njih doživjela je brojna izvođenja na radiju i televiziji, a interpretirali su ih najpoznatiji interpretatori narodne muzike u Jugoslaviji. Njegovo stvaralaštvo je nastalo na bazi dubokog doživljaja sevdalinke i starogradske pjesme u ranoj mladosti, sa nastojanjima da nastavi tu tradiciju, dodajući nešto svoje, novo, svježe u melodijskom i harmonijskom pogledu, što se osjeća u atmosferi i temama pjesama, prilagođavajući ih time savremenijim uslovima života i shvatanjima. U njegovom opusu posebno se izdvajaju pjesme napisane u starogradskom maniru: "Jesenske kiše", "Ljubav u snu" i "Tiho, tiho", koje su interpretirali Zekerijah Đezić i Sabahudin Kurt, kao i "Marija, Marija, Marija", pjesma u duhu dalmatinskog melosa, koju je izvodio Edin Pandur. U toku dugogodišnjeg rada Pašić je dobio brojna stručna priznanja.

He played in the orchestra of the society, together with a group of talented singers of folk music, among which are the most important: Safet Isović, Himzo half, Zora Dubljević and musicians, among them the most: Srdjan Matijevic, Punisa Rakocevic, Edvin Ferizovic, Igor Čapljinski, Dejan Zagorac, Selim Salihbegović and many others, giving their contribution to the development and cultivation of folk music traditions of the city of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Yugoslavia. He is a member of the Association of writers, composers and music of Bosnia and Herzegovina since 1981. year. Pasic's work includes some 90 compositions, of which a large number of tablets taken and sold to the highest tiražima. Most of them experienced a run on numerous radio and television, and interpreted them as the most famous interpreters of folk music in Yugoslavia. His creativity is developed based on deep experience sevdalinke and old songs in his early youth, the efforts to continue this tradition, adding something of his, a new, fresh and melodic harmonijskom in terms of what is felt in the atmosphere and theme songs, adapting them to contemporary conditions, thereby life and ideas. In his work stand out in particular the songs written in the old manner, "Jesenske rain," "Love in a dream" and "Quietly, quietly," are interpreted Zekerijah Đezić and Matt Monro, and "Mary, Mary, Mary", a song in Dalmatian spirit of tune, which was performed Edin Pandur. During the years of work Pasic has received numerous professional awards.
